The excursion departs from Cala Gonone at 9.00 and the first cove you come across on the way is Cala Luna, a line of fine clear sand that separates the sea from the inner natural pond, framed by beautiful oleanders trees and towering mountains. We will stop here for 1.30 hrs.
Hidden behind a wall of rocks, suddenly appears Biriola, a small cove of white sand, nestled between black rocks and lush Mediterranean vegetation. There will be a stop of about 1 hour. Alternatively you can choose to visit to the fascinating “Grotta del Fico” (the Figs ‘Grotto).
Caves, coves and small cracks in the mountain give life to a unique scenery: “the Venus Pools” with amazing waters with shades going from green to turquoise.
Sailing along the coast you can admire one of the most beautiful seas of the world where clear waters allow seeing a rich and colourful seabed over 30 meters deep.
The “Green Cave”, a natural creek of 150 meters inside the rocks, creates a lovely scenario by the incomparable shades of green. A peaceful and cool spot for our lunch break (2 hours stop).
Considered one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean, “Cala Mariolu” provides shapes and glorious colours. Pink pebbles and crystal clear waters rich in fish and coral beds, offer a rare opportunity to dive into a sea of colours (2 hours stop). Soon after we will see the most turquoise waters of the gulf at Cala Gabbiani
Last Pearl of the Gulf of Orosei is the cove “Goloritze”, declared a national natural monument since 1995. Cathedrals of rocks, caves, pinnacles (the highest reaches 200 meters high), silent witnesses of the action of the time, the wind and of ‘water create impressive and majestic scenery.
Through an arch of limestone that dives into a sea turquoise dazzling, you come to the last leg of the trip and reach Cala Gonone at the end of an incredible day.
